Since 1944, the IOT has taken part in construction of various purpose main pipelines with a total length over 60 thousand km, hundreds of tank farms, and other complex engineering facilities both in republics of the former USSR and abroad. Among them, oil pipelines employing unique pumping techniques, projects built in deserts, wetlands and permafrost areas.
Today, IOT actively participates in development and implementation of a number of international programs and large-scale projects, such as the Euro-Asian Oil Transit Corridor, aimed at increasing power safety of Ukraine and all other interested states. The Company performs integrated design of new facilities, develops, reconstructs or modernizes those existing in Ukraine, Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkmeniya. Also, it develops and introduces new technologies aimed at increasing the economic efficiency, operating dependability of these facilities, their operational and environmental safety. By developing measures with a view to prevent contamination of soil, water, atmosphere with oil and oil products, or by taking part in elimination of its consequences, IOT makes its contribution to the cause of environmental protection.
