ZHULIN - NADVIRNA OIL PIPELINE

"Main oil pipelines "Druzhba" Subdivision of JSC "Ukrtransnafta" (Ukraine).

Year of execution: 2002 - 2003

Project Objective: supply of  Russian export oil mix and Azerbaijan oil from existing Brody-State Border oil pipeline in "import" mode and oil from Dolinskay oil and gas field (Ivano-Frankovsk region) to JSC "Neftekhimik Prikarpatya" oil refinery (Nadvornaya, Ivano-Frankovsk region, Ukraine).

Basic engineering solutions:

First stage

  • construction of new section from existing OPS "Dolina" to JSC "Neftekhimik Prikarpatya" oil refinery;
  • exploitation of existing Zhulin - Drogobych oil pipeline section;
  • exploitation of existing Dolina - Drogobych oil pipeline section;

Second stage

  • construction of new section parallel to existing Dolina - Drogobych oil pipeline.

The project provides reconstruction of OPS "Dolina", including installation of commercial oil metering unit, and construction of "Nadvornaya" terminal.

During the construction automatic welding technology CRC-EVANS is used (first in Ukraine).
